Adele Brings 12-Year Old Fan Onstage To Sing With Her!
Adele Brings 12-Year-Old Fan With Autism on Stage to Sing a Duet
Ready for some serious tears water works? While performing in Manchester for her world tour, Adele decided to bring a special guest on stage — an adorable, curly-haired 12-year-old fan. Watch and cry:
According to The Mirror, the preteen's name is Emily Tammam. She has autism and ADHD, as well as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility Type, which causes joint pain and limb weakness. Emily auditioned forBritain's Got Talentin 2014, but didn't get on — surprising considering how well she croons her idol's epic love ballad.
The best part? It was a totally spur-of-the-moment, unplanned deal. "She had a sign saying 'It is my dream to sing with Adele' which she held up," her father explained. At the end of the show, during the evening's second to last song, Adele looked Emily's way. "She turned around and Emily put the lights on her sign, Adele saw it and said 'Ok come on the stage'."
Proving she's happy to share the spotlight, Adele encourages the audience to cheer for her new singing partner.
